Pegasus Award

In 2016 United Call Centers earned the 1st place and won the Pegasus Award as Emerging Company of the Year in Eastern Hungary. The award recognizes the most dynamically developing SMEs in Hungary. The recognitions are offered by Enterprise Investors, Bisnode, and Dentons.

During the selection, the growth rate, the intensity of annual growth, and the transparency of the organisations are the main aspects. The companies are rated based on publicly available financial information, using data and hard facts, and it cannot be applied for.

Responsible employer

In 2018 United Call Centers was awarded the Golden Prize of the Responsible Employer of the Year tender, winning 1st prize among medium companies.

In 2019 following the award UCC's Chief Executive Officer Richárd Kozma has been invited as a keynote speaker of the 2019 Award Ceremony and Conference and the following roundtable discussion. He introduced UCC's initiatives which support our local communities.

These include UCC's toll-free fairy tale phone line, our proprietary E-Tale chatbot which introduces children to fairy tales, our charity work, Christmas charities, and supporting local hospitals. We develop our colleagues' environmental consciousness and sensitivity via our REbot application, which uses chatbot technology to motivate them leaving single-use plastics in their daily lives.

In light of sustainable development and environmental consciousness UCC has an 80 large bicycle fleet available to colleagues for commuting and recreation as they wish.

Family friendly workplace

United Call Centers is a Family-Friendly Company, our primary goal is to ensure our employees and their families are happy during their time spent at UCC.

We support our colleagues in numerous ways: flexible scheduling, holiday planning, company celebrations, free childcare and playroom, and Santa Claus parties are organised to make children and their parents happy.

Disability-Friendly Workplace

United Call Centers has won the Disability-Friendly Workplace award in 2017. Our principle is to provide everyone with equal opportunities and increase the self-esteem and confidence of employees with disabilities. They are integral part of our communities and are indispensable participants in our team buildings as well.

REbot, the educational chatbot system for protecting our environment

United Call Centers has developed a unique chatbot-based gamification solution to help people live a plastic-free life. During Plastic-Free July, we annually organize our chatbot-supported online contest. Participants need to complete small tasks related to replacing plastics with sustainable materials in their household. Players tackle challenges, earn points, and win amazing prizes.

As an environment-conscious company, we feel we need to do more for nature. Non-recycable, single-use plastics are one of the most serious environmental hazards in our age. We believe by paying attention and making conscious choices, we can reduce their amount and hopefully eradicate them altogether. Like we say: nature is not here to protect us, we are here to protect nature.

Business Ethics Award Winner

The Business Ethics Award has played a prominent role in the recognition of ethically operating companies in Hungary since 2000. The prize is only handed out once, and thus its validity will never expire.

In Hungary, the recognition of the “business ethics company” is given to companies whose responsible mindset is realized through their practices. This pertains to taking measures in making a company responsible for its employees, business partners, ensuring the well-being of its closer and broader environment, the sustainable development of society and the improvement of equal opportunities. Its actions are driven by taking care and taking into account the interests and well-being of others. It also places a significant emphasis on serving global goals of sustainability to preserve its environment.

At United Call Centers, we participate in business with an ethical and responsible conduct. Although this award directly honors our company, we have achieved recognition together with our employees, partners, family members and customers. We place substantial emphasis on the continuous motivation, development and improvement of our employees' satisfaction. The ethical guidelines our leaders represent are based on respecting human values, practicing non-discrimination, and most importantly helping, accepting and supporting each other.

Advanced Cycling Workplace

In 2020 the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (MIT) announced the Cycling Friendly Settlement and Cycling Friendly Workplace (CFS-CFW) tender, for which a total of 67 workplaces and 46 settlements applied. Candidates who have been awarded the Cycling Friendly Settlement and Cycling Friendly Workplace (beginner, advanced level, title winner) degree (including the United Call Centers) will also receive a certificate. In addition, the title winners will receive a wall-mounted sign, furthermore, they are entitled to use the Cyclist Friendly title for one year as an indication of moral recognition.

A company's social responsibility can be considered successful, if health and environmental awareness becomes commonplace among its colleagues, so that we can act together for a good cause through a joint contribution, dedication, exemplary behavior and by motivating others. We believe that a livable and clean environment is essential for everyone, so in addition to maintaining our health, we also aim to do everything we can to protect the environment in our close vicinity.
